Stovetop Cookware
You are going to need a couple of good skillets and some utensils for the stovetop recipes. I like non-stick and cast-iron skillets. But this is a decision based on personal taste and the size of your family. You will obviously need larger skillets for larger portions. Again, you are the best judge for that.
I am a southerner and grew up with my mom cooking on cast iron skillets. So, I use them a lot. I own three different sizes. A good ten-inch cast iron skillet is always useful in the kitchen. It’s great for frying chicken and also for searing steaks lightning-fast in butter. Yum!
