Are You a Single or Divorced Man Who Don't Like (or Know How) to Cook?
Hallelujah! Your Day of Kitchen Redemption Has Finally Arrived!
If you are a single or divorced man, today I want to talk JUST to YOU. I also want to talk to college students who are living away from home for the first time.
The reason I want to talk to you is because we have a lot in common, you and me.
As a single and divorced man, myself, I understand the challenges you face in the kitchen, and I'm here to share my story and experiences that led to the creation of the Superfast 10-Minute Recipes.
My Single and Divorced Struggle
Let's rewind to 1991 when I found myself navigating the unfamiliar territory of bachelorhood after a life-altering divorce. Suddenly, the kitchen, once a shared space of good food and companionship, became a daunting realm of confusion.
Those were dark times for me, and I really don’t like to think about it much now. At that time, I worked 12-hour shifts at a job I didn’t like very much. I came home late at night, often after 10 PM, exhausted and starving. My budget didn’t allow for eating out or doing take-out very much, so I had to fend for myself.
My first choice was TV dinners that I just popped in the microwave. They were cheap and fast, but the problem was that were not very good or nutritious. And I became tired of them very quickly. It wasn’t long until I could barely stomach them at all. Honestly, I don’t know how I survived back then. I think I have just blanked a lot of it out in my mind and memory.
With little more than a clueless stare at pots and pans, I realized I had to learn how to cook from scratch.
Picture this: a man who couldn't distinguish between a spatula and a ladle, fumbling through cookbooks with the earnest determination to conquer the culinary world.
Trial and error became my kitchen companions, with burnt recipes and undercooked attempts serving as steppingstones to culinary enlightenment. The microwave, stovetop, and pressure cooker became my allies in this quest for self-sufficiency.
Step by agonizing step, I slowly began to piece it all together. It all began to come together in my mind like a giant jigsaw puzzle.
The stovetop skillet was where I had my first major successes in the kitchen. After some experimentation, I began dining on sumptuous skillet-seared steaks with mushrooms and green beans. I sauteed chicken and fish, all in minutes, and with very little cleanup afterward. It was, and still is, glorious.
I then moved on and mastered my most treasured appliance, the microwave. But I was no longer settling for those awful (and I mean AWFUL) TV dinners. Now, it was different. I began feasting on chicken alfredo and beef fajitas. All in just minutes. And all with hardly any cleanup, because microwaving simplifies and streamlines the cooking process so much.
And from there I moved on to another great appliance I have come to love, the Insta-Pot Pressure Cooker.
Today, this 3-prong (microwave, skillet, pressure cooker) approach to cooking is a mainstay in my life. Even on days that I am exhausted and don’t feel like fighting with pots and pans, I still enjoy delicious, nutritious meals that I can make and clean up in just minutes.
And from all of this comes my 10-Minute Superfast Recipes, the crowning jewel of my whole menu and approach.
The College Student's Culinary Odyssey

Fast forward to the present, and I see echoes of my former self in the college students navigating their way through dormitory life, facing the challenges of preparing a decent meal with limited resources.
Whether it's the novice cook overwhelmed by the vast world of culinary possibilities or the solo diner grappling with the complexities of cooking for one, the struggle is universal.
As a college student, your days may be consumed by lectures, assignments, and social endeavors, leaving little time or energy for mastering the culinary arts. Frozen pizzas and instant noodles may seem like the default choices, but fear not – the kitchen need not be a place of mystery and uncertainty.
Join me on this culinary odyssey, and together, we'll transform your dorm room into a hub of delicious creations using Meals-n-Minutes' Super-Fast 10-Minute recipes.
The Magic of the Superfast 10-Minute Recipes
Now, my friend, comes the exciting part – the revelation of the Superfast 10-Minute Recipes. As a newly single, divorced man who once stood clueless in the kitchen, I understand the unique challenges you face.
Imagine a world where a simple microwave, stovetop skillet, and pressure cooker can transform basic ingredients into gourmet delights easily and in just minutes. Picture yourself crafting savory skillet stir-fries, flavorful pasta dishes, and succulent steaks with minimal effort and time.
Imagine a complete and absolutely delicious meal ready in only 10 minutes! That’s the magic of my Superfast Recipes.
And imagine kitchen cleanup in just minutes because you have used only a small number of dishes and utensils in the first place. That alone should make anyone stand up and sing out, “Hallelujah! Fewer dishes to wash? Yes, give me more of that, please.” Am I right?

You Are Not Alone
Whether you're a college student navigating the culinary world for the first time or a single or divorced man seeking kitchen redemption, you are not alone.
I'm here to show you the ropes, to show you everything I’ve learned in the last two decades. I will take you by the hand and lead you one step at a time, leaving nothing to chance, taking nothing for granted.
Listen, don’t waste your time making the same mistakes I made. You could literally spend years in the kitchen going through trial and error over and over, and maybe, just maybe come up with my extremely streamlined methods and ideas. But why do all that? Why put yourself through all the trouble when someone has already figured it all out for you.
Even if you have barely ever set foot in the kitchen to cook, even if you can't tell the difference between a whisk and a wooden spoon, I will have you cooking delicious home-style meals in just minutes. That’s my promise to you. Just follow my step-by-step instructions. How simple is that?
